What's the « Why Not! » ?
We're a cosy wine bar offering simple yet tasty meals.
There's also second-hand fashion available but we won't bother you with it if you're just in for drinks and meals. Just think of it as decoration in that case.
While we're specialized in serving from a selection of over 30 wines we also have soft drinks, coffee, tea and a limited selection of beer too - but only bottled, no beers on tap.
What makes us stand apart from other bistro, bars and restaurants is the fact, that all of our wines are served "open", meaning by the glass. You don't have to buy an entire bottle for tasting one glass. Our guests love the concept as it allows them to try a different wine with each glass and thus sip their way through our selection.

Opening times
Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm until 10 pm
Payment methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as mobile payment. However, due to transaction fees (especially with international cards) et cetera, we offer non-cash payment only for bills starting at 20 €. We apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask for your understanding.
Are reservations required?
It depends. Generally, you don't need a reservation. However, if you plan to visit us with more than three people on Thursdays or Fridays, we recommend that you call at least one day in advance at +49 2232 152 99 58 and make a reservation to be on the safe side.
Dogs, Bikes, Smoking
- As we're dog owners ourselves we're of course happy to welcome your furry companion(s) if they behave and feel okay in a sometimes crowded place
- If arriving by bike, please try to not place them in front of the shed (which hosts the garbage bins of the restaurant and the tenants) and to not block access between the building and the street
- Please be aware that smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the wine bar. You're however free to smoke in front of the restaurant, we have ashtrays and also seats available.
